INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

Participation in the International Classical Music Masterclasses ARDEA is possoble only in two basic forms – passive and active, and any form of hybrid model as well as the possibility of subsequent replacement of selected models is not allowed.

Active participation

The possibility of active participation in the ARDEA Masterclasses is realized by filling out the online application form with an indication of the active model and passing the selective round, about which the participants receive an online notification in the form of an invitation letter. Due to the limited number of participants - 1 lecturer can have a maximum of 8 participants, ARDEA professors reserve the discretionary right to decide, based on the online application form, who will receive an invitation letter to participate in the classical music seminar. The selection of candidates according to the received applications and the sending of invitation letters is done within 5 days from the deadline for the application of each individual seminar. Candidates in the online application form have the right to choose more subject professors, and the organizers will inform them about the availability of the capacity of the second- and third-chosen ones, in case of passing the selective round. Also, in the case of passing the selective round and the desired professor's capacity is already filled, the organizers will inform the candidate in a timely manner and offer the remaining vacancies of other ARDEA professors. In case of subsequent withdrawal of one of the selected active participants, the organizer will contact candidates who have not previously passed the selective round as soon as possible and invite them to participate in the seminar. The priority of passing, depending on the number of subsequently available places, goes to those candidates who are the first to respond to participation. All selected active participants of the seminar are offered classes with the selected professor in 4 individual teaching sessions. The appointments of all participants are distributed equally, and the subject professor reserves the right to organize, reassign and change the duration of appointments exclusively in agreement with the student. The expected duration of each term is at least 45 minutes, and by the end of the registered course, the total time capacity of the 3-hour class must be satisfied. Otherwise, ARDEA Masterclasses reserve the right not to issue a certificate of participation. All active participants have the right to additional consultations with the subject mentor or mentors at the time and place agreed for this purpose. At the end of the seminar itself, all active participants have the right to a public performance in the form of a final concert in which they will present their work, and the right to choose and shape the concert program is reserved by the subject professor in agreement with the participants. At the end of the seminar, if the stated conditions for participation are met, all active participants receive an ARDEA certificate of participation.

Passive participation

Passive participants are allowed to participate in all lectures of all professors of the subject instrument. The number of participants of this model is unlimited, and by filling out the online application form indicating the passive model, they automatically acquire the right to participate. All passive participants have the right to consult with the subject mentor or mentors at the time and place agreed for this purpose. At the end of the seminar, all passive participants receive an ARDEA certificate of participation.
All seminar classes are public and open to both passive and active participants.
