MASTERCLASS – Oliver Kern's Piano Masterclass Begins Today

The piano masterclass led by Professor Oliver Kern begins today in Čapljina as part of the 10th anniversary edition of the International Classical Music Masterclass ARDEA 2026.

Professor Kern, a faculty member at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt, is one of Germany's most distinguished pianists and internationally acclaimed concert artists. Throughout his career, he has performed in prestigious concert halls around the world and has given masterclasses across Europe and beyond.

During the programme, young pianists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and other countries will work intensively on their technique, musical interpretation and artistic expression through individual lessons and close mentoring. The masterclass offers participants a unique opportunity to learn directly from one of today's most respected piano professors.

The masterclass will take place from 4 to 10 August at the Academy Centre for Education and Culture and the TAU Gallery in Čapljina, concluding with a final concert where participants will present the results of their work.
