Highly praised and respected among music professionals as one of the most distinguished masterclass seminars in the region, the International Classical Music Seminar “Ardea” celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. The two annual cycles, which have generated exceptional interest within the music community, have filled their final available places months in advance, confirming the Seminar’s status as a leading platform for the development of young artists.
The winter masterclass cycle is currently underway, bringing to Čapljina three renowned artists: pianist Marijan Đuzel, violinist Marco Graziani, and cellist Dejan Božić, joined by artistic collaborators pianist Bartolomej Stanković and pianist Silvija Vukojević. The seminar gathers nearly forty talented young musicians from Bosnia and Herzegovina and neighboring countries.
During the intensive week-long program, four concerts will be held, with the highlight being the Professors’ Gala Concert, scheduled for March 2 at 7:00 PM at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Čapljina. This concert represents the culmination of the winter school and the ceremonial inauguration of the Seminar’s tenth anniversary edition.
The organizer, the Center for Education and Culture “Akademija” Čapljina, proudly invites all citizens to attend the upcoming concert events and support the young, talented musicians. Admission to all concerts is free.
