CONCERT – Chamber Music Evening with Marko Zupan and Marijan Đuzel Opens ARDEA 2026 Summer Cycle

July 29, 2026

The summer cycle of the 10th anniversary edition of the International Classical Music Masterclass ARDEA 2026 begins with a chamber concert featuring two distinguished musicians and professors of this year's masterclass – flutist Marko Zupan and pianist Marijan Đuzel.

The concert will be held on Tuesday, 4 August 2026, at 8:00 PM in the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Čapljina.

Marko Zupan, professor at the Arts Academy of the University of Split, is one of Slovenia's most distinguished flutists and an acclaimed educator. Marijan Đuzel is a professor at the Juraj Dobrila University Academy of Music in Pula and one of Croatia's leading pianists of the younger generation.

The audience can look forward to an evening of outstanding chamber music performed by artists whose concert careers and teaching have earned them recognition across Europe. This concert also marks the opening of ARDEA 2026's rich concert programme, which will feature performances by both professors and participants throughout August.

We warmly invite all lovers of classical music to join us and celebrate the beginning of another unforgettable musical summer in Čapljina.

Admission is free.
